Brooks at 2 years

MY BIG BOY! You are officially a 2 year old toddler! Everyday we look at you and are amazed at how fast you are growing and learning!

1.  You can count to three. You also say "eight, nine, and ten", but the rest of the numbers are all jumbled up.

2.  When we ask you something, you say "okay" now. It's precious!!!

3. We officially started "real" time-outs, and you HATE them. They are, however, my new best friend!

4. You still love, love, love cars. You hoard them...especially if another kid is around! You like to carry about 3 or 4 in your hand at a time.

5.  You go to bed really easily right now. Right before I walk out of the room you say, "night mama!" It melts my heart each time.

6.  You are running around everywhere! It's so hard to keep up sometimes.

7. You still love going to your babysitter...sometimes you even tell me you don't want to leave when I come to pick you up!

8. You still like Yo Gabba Gabba. You sing a lot of the songs and it is SO PRECIOUS when you sing:)

9. You are definitely in full swing with the "Terrible Two's" and it is so challenging for mom and dad!

10. You play really well by yourself, but you also love to play with other kids.

11. You do this thing when you are waiting to receive something...you rub your hands over your chest and belly until I hand you what you are waiting for.

12. You still don't try to climb on anything too crazy. You like to climb into chairs, though, and take stuff off the table.

13. You don't really like to sit in a high chair at a restaurant anymore...you prefer a booster seat.

14. You are speaking so many words, and understand so many things we say! You have a really good memory :)

15. You are starting to kiss us on the cheek and make a smacking sound when you do it...it's really sweet!

We love you so much Brooksman! You make us so happy, and we just can't get enough of you!
