Halloween 2009

We had such a great Halloween this year! My parent flew in the night before to spend the holiday with the grandkids, so that made it extra fun! We went to Adalyn's party Saturday morning, and then went trick or treating that night! It was Brooks' first time to trick or treat, and let me just say the boy caught on super fast! After people started filling his little bucket full of candy, there was nothing we could do to get him to let go of it! He just dragged it around everywhere he went. By the end of the night, we could get him to go up to someone and say "treat" and "thank you". We went to a neighborhood close to where Justin and Tiffany live to do our trick or treating. It was awesome because they close off the streets to all cars, and it is just full of people in costumes walking around! Lots of homeowners on the street just sat in lawn chairs outside their doors passing out candy. After Brooks went up the stairs (there were stairs leading up to each house) to trick or treat the first time, he kept wanting to do it over and over again at the same house. He picked up really quick that all the other houses were just as much fun as that first one! We went trick or treating with Uncle Justin, Aunt Tiffany, Taylor, Grayson, Candace, Josiah, Adalyn, Oma, Uncle Derek, Grammy, Pappy, Mommy, and Daddy. It was a blast and I can't wait for next year!
